Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Major responsibilities include planning and executing experiments related to developing protein engineering platforms for therapeutic antibody generation and optimization. She/he will work with scientists to create research plans, execute experiments, analyze and interpret data and present results to the group and the department. She/he is expected to have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills and keep good records. Strong team-based communication and presentation skills will be required.

Essential Requirements:

For AS I:

Bachelors Degree in Molecular Biology or other related fields with at least 5 years of relevant experience in industry (preferred) or academia or Masters Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in industry (preferred) or academia

For R&DA II:

Bachelors Degree in Molecular Biology or other related fields with 2-5 years of relevant experience in industry (preferred) or academia or Masters Degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience in industry (preferred) or academia

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Molecular Biology or Biochemistry, particularly PCR and molecular cloning techniques. Protein expression, purification and characterization experience is also required. Experience in cell culture, FACS and antibody engineering (phage/yeast display-based selections) is also highly desirable.
