The Clinical Pharmacology and Quantitative Pharmacology Department at AstraZeneca seeks an experienced Scientist I to support development and implementation of bioanalytical and biomarker assays of cell-based therapeutics to be located in South San Francisco, CA or Gaithersburg, MD.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
The job-holder will serve as a bioanalytical and biomarker scientist on pre-clinical and clinical programs of novel cell-based therapeutics. Responsibilities include development (hands-on laboratory work), qualification and implementation of bioanalytical/biomarker assays to quantify product quantities and pharmacodynamic activities thereof for
AstraZeneca cell-based therapeutics. In addition, the candidate will manage interactions with contract research organizations (CROs), including assay transfer, validation, trouble-shooting and analysis of resulting data.
